CEO Champions Inclusion at Key National Events
Our CEO, Anthony Benedict, recently represented Ambition Community Trust at two significant events focused on belonging and inclusion.
North West Belonging Roadshow
Anthony was invited to speak at the North West Belonging conference, where his contribution was described as “inspirational” by sector leaders. Feedback from delegates highlighted the impact of his insights and expressed eagerness for future collaboration. The event reinforced ACT’s commitment to driving meaningful change across schools and settings, ensuring that belonging is at the heart of education.
Engaging with Policy Makers
In addition to the Roadshow, Anthony attended the All Party Parliamentary Group for Inclusion at the Houses of Parliament. This provided an invaluable opportunity to engage directly with policymakers and sector influencers. During the session, Anthony spoke with Dame Christine Lenehan, who is leading the government’s SEND review, sharing perspectives on how inclusive practices can shape better outcomes for children and young people.
These engagements underline ACT’s growing influence in shaping national conversations around inclusion and SEND. We look forward to building on these opportunities to ensure every child feels a true sense of belonging.
