Greswell Primary and Nursery School
Gemma Bullock, Chair of Governors
I have been a Governor at Greswell Primary School since 2018 and currently serve as Chair of Governors. Although my son left the school four years ago, I remain passionate about supporting Greswell and the community it serves. In my professional role as an Income and Money Advice Manager in the social housing sector, I work closely with individuals and families to help them overcome challenges and access opportunities. This experience has reinforced my belief in the important role schools play in helping children feel safe, valued and able to reach their full potential. I am proud to work with a dedicated governing board and school leadership team to ensure the best possible outcomes for every pupil.

Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family and also playing and watching Football as much as I can! I believe that the quality of education plays a huge part in shaping a child’s future success. I want to support the school and all the staff in providing the best possible learning environment for all pupils. Castlefield Campus and Meade Hill School
Lauren Anderton, Chair of Governors
With over 14 years of experience in SEMH education, I’ve had the privilege of working across a wide range of roles; from TA and teacher to SENCO, Assistant Headteacher, to Deputy Headteacher. In recent years, I also had the opportunity to step up as acting Headteacher to cover a secondment for our current Headteacher. Throughout my career, I’ve remained deeply passionate about relational inclusion and committed to helping every child succeed, no matter their starting point. Outside of school, you’ll most likely find me sketching in a life drawing class, exploring new places in my camper van, or out on a walk with my dog. I believe in bringing creativity, compassion, and a sense of adventure to everything I do; both in and out of the classroom!

I’m Elaine Healey and I’ve been a Governor at Russell Scott Primary School since 2003. I’m married, live in Denton and have three daughters who all attended Russell Scott. My Grandson Caleb is in Year one, and he’s the fourth generation of my family to have attended this amazing school. I run a local Charity called OKE for families who have children with SEND and I’m also Treasurer of Dom Doyle FC. In my spare time I love watching football, travelling, and spending time with my family. I’m incredibly honoured and proud to be Chair of Governors of Russell Scott. I love children and I am passionate about education so this is a brilliant role for me, not one I take for granted, but one I treasure. Russell Scott is an inspirational school and my happy place! Remarkable things can be achieved when the whole school community comes together and that is one of the things I am most proud of, Russell Scott is not just a school, it’s a family that comes together to enable children to achieve great things. ‘It takes a village’
