Inspiring the Scientists of the Future at Millbrook Primary
Last week, our Year 5 and Year 6 pupils took part in the Great Science Share at Manchester University – and they were an absolute credit to Millbrook Primary. The event gave our children the opportunity to explore real-world science alongside university researchers, and to share their own scientific thinking and discoveries.
Back at school, the excitement continued with our very own Science Day, where a mobile planetarium brought the wonders of the universe right into our hall. From star constellations to the surface of Mars, our pupils were captivated by the immersive experience.
The Headteacher said:
“It’s been a fantastic week for science learning at Millbrook. We’re proud to give our children opportunities like these – they spark curiosity, develop confidence, and inspire the next generation of scientists.”
These events are part of our commitment to providing rich, engaging experiences that bring learning to life.
